ITALIAN LAKE WEDDING
Cathy and Andrea’s Italian lake wedding at the beautiful Villa Regina Teodolinda on Lake Como in September 2024 was a breathtaking celebration filled with charm, emotion, and unforgettable moments. With guests traveling from as far as Korea and San Francisco, the weekend began with a warm welcome pizza party—a perfect way to bring everyone together over delicious Italian food, laughter, and the excitement of the days to come.

ITALY WEDDING
The wedding day itself turned into something truly magical. A soft rain fell over Lake Como, casting a mystical atmosphere across the lakeside villa. Rather than dampening spirits, the weather made everything feel even more romantic and cinematic. The ceremony took place right by the water, with the misty lake and mountains creating an unforgettable backdrop for Cathy and Andrea’s Italy wedding vows.
As evening arrived, everyone gathered indoors for an elegant dinner surrounded by stunning decor, followed by a joyful party that carried on into the night—celebrating love, connection, and the timeless beauty of an Italian lake wedding in the rain.
CATHY & ANDREA
Dear Bura,
It took us a while to write you back, in part because it took us time to watch and admire all that you were able to capture on the days of our wedding — and in part because we were not sure how to express what we feel when we watch your film.
First, we want to say a big thank you. Your film is stunning visually. We love the quality of footage, the intimate moments you captured, and your eye for beautiful details. We also love how you pieced together the sound, including some songs that we absolutely adore and the drum of raindrops. We are also so touched by your piecing together the words shared by our community, even words spoken in Korean!
But art is not only about what things look like, or sound like, but how things make us feel. Your film flooded us with the memories and all the raw emotions of a very special moment, a moment shared by only the most special people in our lives. We were reminded again of how loved we are by those who have raised us and who have seen us grow from our teenage years into our 30s. It reminded us of how lucky we are to have each other and to be able to celebrate our life in such a beautiful place.
There is much more we can say about your art, but we wanted to say thank you again from the bottom of our hearts for capturing our day with us! We hope we can catch up with you somewhere in the world (maybe Vienna, maybe somewhere else!) in the future.
